About the Artwork

In Forest in the Snow, the landscape becomes an abstract theatre of color and falling light. Trees are reduced to rhythmic verticals, their crowns dissolving into blossoms of pink, violet, and turquoise. Snow drifts across the surface as flecks and splashes of white, softening the forms like a veil.

The composition carries a hint of Japanese aesthetics — flat planes, vertical rhythms, and the interplay of emptiness and fullness. Both floral and atmospheric, it is a winter garden seen through the lens of memory and imagination, where silence and vibrancy coexist.
